Nevada Ballet Theatre brings The Nutcracker to the Paris Theatre
I don't know about you but for me the holiday season isn't into full swing until The Nutcracker kicks it off with properly pointed toes. It's that time of year and just as they have for the past 30 years, our friends at Nevada Ballet Theatre are again presenting the classic. It opens Friday night!
Snowflakes, sugarplum fairies and all the dancing toys you can handle will appear. A while back we announced auditions for local youngster to perform in this year's production and nearly 100 local youth will be on stage this year.
For the first time ever the show will be on the Las Vegas Strip... and why shouldn't it be?! They're also rockin' new sets, costumes and choreography.
I'm very proud that my beautiful little Star Nigella, who came to me via Nevada Ballet Theatre last year, will be emceeing Friday's opening night. We'd love to see you out there!!
