Vegas Experts Exposed
It's no secret Vegas tourism is going through tough times. When the going gets tough you pull out all the stops and sometimes that means asking for a little help from your friends. Your famous, celebrity friends!
Vegas.com - the world's largest destination travel website - has launched its new marketing campaign and it features nearly 30 Vegas entertainers who appear in some pretty hilarious videos. Among them, Marie Osmond mans the complaint hotline and Carrot Top brings his "mother issues" to work.
You can get in on the action, too. Vote for your favorite video and the winner will be announced November 10. The top four will be used in a TV campaign. Everyone who votes will be entered into a contest the winner of which will get an unbelievable VIP prize package which includes several celeb meet & greets, a shopping spree and a totally indulgent weekend.

A nice note from Celeb Makeover winner Jolene Bushnell
Thank you to everyone who made the Celebrity Makeover contest a reality. I am truly grateful 2 have been picked for the makeover. It was FABULOUS!
As for details.. well here is the scoop. I arrived at Michael's salon at 9:30 am. Immediately, I was introduced 2 the entire staff at the salon. Everyone was friendly & professional. They made me feel like a queen for a day. After the meet & greet was over, I was wisked away 4 a professional spray tan using Bronzed.. a product specially formulated by Michael.. it didn't have the usual smell of most spray tans & the color was very believable w/out any streaking.
Next, Michael came over 2 do a consult on my hair. Michael suggested a chocolate brown color 2bring back some shine & make my hair feel thicker along with a cut & extensions. Once Michael colored my hair, it was no longer brittle and had a brilliant shine to it. The color was perfect for my skin tone.
Michael's brilliant stylist, David then took over & cut, put extensions in & curled my hair. The color & extensions transformed my hair into the kind of hair that women only dream of. My hair was like a work of art when he was done. It felt great & made me look like I was a celebrity.
Michael's staff then did a full mani and pedi which almost put me to sleep as it was so relaxing. Here again, the staff used products designed by Michael which included scrubs & lotions made of chardonnay & grape seed extract which smelled terrific. I tell you.. Michael is brilliant.. not only is he great with the actual styling, but he has great taste when it comes to his product line.
Finally, I was off to makeup. Here I had my makeup airbrushed on. Now I had always considered myself as someone who was pretty good with makeup, but the makeup artist was very much at the top of her game. She airbrushed out all of the imperfections on my face & made me look and feel 10 yrs younger. I tell you, if you have ever been to a salon and thought that you would do your own makeup.. think again.. at least at Michael's place. Getting your makeup done at a Michael Boychuck salon is worth it.
When all was said & done, I felt & looked terrific. Everyone made me look l0 yrs younger which brought me back to the time before I was diagnosed w/cancer. When I got to see myself at the end, a tear came to my eye as I stood there and thought how nice all of these folks were and how they spent their day to make me feel beautiful. Michael's salon & staff are top notch. Needless to say, I would highly recommend any service at a Michael Boychuck salon. The day was amazing. It was all planned out even down to lunch w/my husband. Michael is such a nice guy & his staff made me feel at home and 4 this day, I am truly grateful.
It does get better... on my way out, everyone had put together a basket of product goodies from the salon for me to take home to relive my experience.
The day was not over.. Michael had thrown in a special spa suite @ Caesars. When I was done w/my makeover, my husband brought my Mom & daughter 2 the room so that we could all share in this moment. As you can see from my pic, it was a happy day. My Mother even started 2 cry as she looked into my eyes and saw the daughter that she knew before.. the one w/out cancer.
Needless 2 say, dinner at Raos was terrific. Jerry Seinfeld was phenomenal. He had my husband & I laughing for a good 1.5 hrs.
Again, THANK YOU ALICIA.. you are the best. You are so kind and thoughtful! I will never forget what you did for me and how for a day, you allowed my family and I to forget about cancer all together & just have fun.
